Taxi driver licence in Kuusamo
Kuusamo has a service point of Traficom's service provider both until the end of 2026 and from 1 January 2027, so you usually do not need to travel to another town for the exam. There are 12 taxi companies in Kuusamo.

Exam locations

- From 1 January 2027: CityKuljettajat Kuusamo, Kaiterantie 16, 93600 Kuusamo (offices open on 4 January 2027).
The sources do not say for each service point whether it holds the taxi driver exam. Check with the provider before you book. According to Ajovarma's price list, the exam costs 138 € and the licence application 57 € (read 5 November 2026). The exam is in Finnish or Swedish: 60 questions in 45 minutes.
Kela taxis 2027: Central and North Ostrobothnia
The providers chosen by Kela from 1 January 2027: Pohjois-Suomen Taksi Oy and Konnektio Oy. According to Kela, since 1 January 2024 only drivers trained to meet special groups may drive Kela taxis: driver training for special groups.
